Quiet, relaxing place, with birdsong to listen to. Lovely countryside. Walks from your doorstep. Caravan had everything you needed.

We stayed at the caravan in Clashmore woods for 3 night and would highly recommend this it was very clean and cosy and had all the essential things you would need for your stay. It has a lovely forest walk right at the door and you are close to many of the areas such as Dornoch and Tain. Julie and Steve are the most welcoming hosts and can’t do enough for you plus you get the most wonderful welcome from their dog George who is just the sweetest dog. I will definitely look forward to another stay here in the future.

What a place! Modern, Quiet, with all the little luxuries of a 4 star hotel. All you need is food and clean clothes. The rest is here for you.We were looking at a hotel to break up a journey south, and came across this place. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom which included all necessary toiletries/ towels/ hairdrier.Snug sitting room with a couch and tv, Diner with a microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Lovely patio area with a heater if needed. And if you are thinking £100+ , go online and be surprised! We will definitely be back, probably in the summer to watch all the birds in the garden. If you need a base for exploring the area, look no further.

A wonderful wee place offering ‘home from home’ comfort. Clean, cosy, and a few extras that came in very handy such as the fridge (and the little treats in it!). Loved its remoteness, offering tranquility and lots of open space - my dog loved it too! Thank you, and hope to come back for another stay soon.

The apartment was just superb. The owner Julie had been in touch prior to arriving with directions etc. But its useful yo know that the Google maps took us to the door. Nothing was too much trouble for Juie. We were running a bit late...this wasn't a problem and we felt very comfortable staying in their accommodation.Breakfast options were superb and plentiful. The accommodation had everything that we required from tea coffee etc to toiletries. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Facing fields at a peaceful small place, boasting a spacious bedroom, a living room with a sofa and a dining table and a fully equipped bathroom with a bath and a heated floor. Coffee machine, fridge and a kettle helping to get comfortable. Breakfast is ready in the fridge and is very rich and flexible in choices. Parking is free and right at the door. The landlords are welcoming, polite and helpful, but don't disturbe you.all is spotless.

We came to stay 3 nights, after we had been for 1 night 2 weeks prior, on our way home from holiday. We just had to come back! The attention to detail is great. We loved our continental breakfast and it was fun looking at the menu for the next day. Then just like magic our fridge was stocked up with delicious nibbles plus bagels and bread. We highly recommend staying here and going to Dornoch. The Surf and Turf place is fantastic there but there lots of lovely places to eat. This is a professionally run B&B that you don't want to miss. Your own entrance means your staying in a little apartment and a food fairy does a delivery every day. I must say it's run by a very helpful and efficient fairy!

In a perfect off the beaten track location, the caravan offered exactly the right bolt hole for a quiet stop over. We were greeted warmly, enjoyed a nice, relaxed dog walk past a babbling brook and away from traffic, after eating our tea using a well equipped kitchen, we retired to a comfortable bed and slept well.Liked the thoughtful touches in the bathroom too. Hope to return to this friendly, warm and comfortable caravan. Thank you for having us!

The first time on Skye, second as a bed and breakfast guest at Clashmore Woods, and this time, as self-catering in their static caravan. The standard of accommodation is outstanding, everything you need to enjoy a holiday in Scotland. The warm welcome is appreciated and Julie and Steve go out of their way to help you, from showing us the best walks, to recommendations for food and interesting places to go. 5 star review for a five starcouple, George is woofderful too!!

We booked the caravan,as didn't want to be tied to a specific breakfast time if we wanted a lie in. The accommodation did not disappoint. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and situated in a lovely quiet spot next to the house. Cosy and comfortable with everything that was needed.Steve and George made us feel very welcome and George would regularly pop roundfor a fuss, and we were more than happy to oblige him!Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Perfect quiet little spot, ideally situated for getting out and about.Thank you for a lovely relaxing break.

We've had a great stay at Clashmore Wood B&B. Julie and Steve are lovely hosts and we really felt welcomed from the moment we'd arrived. The surrounding is stunning and perfect for people with dogs. We saw a woodpecker, a grouse and lots of other animals as the B&B is located in a lovely rural area but quite nearby the town of Durnoch where you find several locations for dinner. Hands down, one of the best breakfasts (I'm going to miss Julie's granola). Highly recommend & hopefully we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Clashmore Wood and would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Julie and Steve were fabulous hosts; we felt so welcome and nothing was too much trouble.Great advice on walk routes close to the house (saw a number of deer at close quarters). The bed, pillows and duvet were fabulous (as rather a ‘Princess and the Pea’ kind of gal, I slept like a log, which is really unusual).Breakfasts were so delicious and Julie wasn’t phasedabout our GF and non-dairy milk requests. So kind to get us some GF biscuits and Oat Milk.Lovely to have a private sitting room to relax in at the end of the day too.Great to meet gorgeous George.Cannot recommend Clashmore Wood highly enough.

Everything was great from the fantastic breakfast and friendly owners, to the value for money. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, being the location of the owners bedroom, as we felt that we had to tiptoe around on a night and first thing in the morning.

Clashmore Wood is a lovely quiet location - immaculately clean accommodation with separate sitting room just for you! So nice to be able to relax in the evening not perched on the bed!Hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout. If travelling with a dog you couldn’t do better than stay here - walks from the door, meet & greet from George the retriever, loads of space. Also despite being a little off the beaten track - the A9 is really close, as is lovely Dornoch and lots of other great places to visit.

A warm welcome in every sense in the midst of unseasonal cold snap. The accommodation is spacious with a comfortable bedroom, separate sitting room and modern shower room. Plenty of lovely touches so rates well above basic and so fantastic value. If you're looking for quiet, off the beaten track then this is for you but good food and special individual shops and one of the best beaches in Scotland are just 3 miles away. We'll be back!

Easy to follow directions to get to this wonderful home from home property. Julie and Steve were very welcoming along with George their adorable dog. We had our own beautiful bedroom, shower room, living area with tv, coffee machine and fridge which contained treats for us. There was also a lovely outside patio for us to use as our own. Plenty of books, board games and jigsaws if you just want to spend time indoors.Being dog friendly makes this property more of a gem and Julie and Steve were more than happy for our dog to wander around wherever she wanted. The freshly cooked breakfast - and the choices would rival any hotel menu - were absolutely delicious. Clashmore is situated in a lovely area and restaurants and shops are within easy reach of Tain and Dornoch.Perfect for travelling round the NC500 or visiting the local area. This beautiful idyll just outside the incredibly pretty village of Dornoch does not disappoint. The welcome from Ste and Julie could not be bettered and George the golden retriever is on hand to welcome you and your own pup - treats are the way to his heart! The bedroom, lounge and bathroom are delightful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well presented. The breakfast choice is excellent and perfectly cooked. Julie's homemade granola is a special treat. Lovely sunny evenings relaxing on the patio in as tranquil a spot as you could wish for. Dornoch beach is stunning and there is easy access to all manner of tourist attractions, even as far as the west coast. I'm a little reluctant to have the world discover this gorgeous place for fear I can't get booked in again. We are planning our next visit already
